How long is too long to wait to add salt for silver tip?
I have a 2-3 inch silver tip shark in a freshwater tank because I was told it needed freshwater. I'm going to get a brackish tank, but how long is too long to wait before i put him in? i am using aquarium salt.
A few other names are columbian shark, Shark catfish, Bull shark catfish, Black fin shark.
Like I said in the other question, these are typically sold as freshwater fish and I'm sure they will live for a matter of months in freshwater, but they will need brackish water. And MOST importantly, you need to use marine salt and not aquarium salt. Again, here is a great website:
